Ever Wonder What the Real People Think?

Most people are so busy with there own little world that not a lot of politics shakes through. The sad part is that the people who have time to pester politicians are the weirdos that can't hold a job. Those of us who must work 45's (40 hours 5 days a week) don't have time to investigate the presidential hopefuls and rely on what they pick up at work or on tv commercials to try to make a decision. So the truth is the politicians work furiously to come up with quick catch phrases to influence Soccar Moms and 45 Dads to vote for them on election day. I wish I didn't have to say it but too many people depend on groups of people whose job it is to influence the poor worker bees to think one way or another or to get you to vote one way or another. The sad part is that either the groups income or influence depends heavily on how many people they sway to one side of the pendulum or the other. This means that average everyday folks who are worried about college for Junior and the 401K for retirement, never gets to hear a clear, unbiased opinion as to who would be the best person to vote for to ensure they will get Junior to college and have something left in the 401K so they won't have to eat dog food in their retirement, unless they want to. I don't have a solution to this and going through Congressional records to make a determination is tedious at best. My hope is that someone will come up with a good format to assist the average working person with information so they can vote their own voting block. Not just the religious right or the socialist left. The League of Women Voters do a nice job but guess who they lean towards? Rush Limbaugh is ok if you lean to the right but what if your leanings are more socialist? Again, I don't know the answer but I hope that if enough of us get together, we can reason together and maybe, just maybe come up with politicians who will represent even the 45s!
